 The Academy represents decades of Chario’s studying of this craft. Acoustic development and material science both contribute to achieving the very best loudspeaker performance, but the magic that makes the Academy so special is the decades of experience (working, honing, refining—the science) putting the parts and pieces, the ingredients, together. 

 We’re highlighting the Aviator name to point out the similarities between aeronautics and speaker design. Both apply engineering solutions to the same problems: strength, flexibility, shape, control of moving parts, how they affect the air around them, and how they work in a given environment to name just a few. Design is not just what it looks and feels like, design is also how it works. 

Although the Constellation line is a book-end to the Academy line, it’s still packed with the same level of attention-to-detail as its bigger siblings and each have considerable technology.
